My Lemon Chive Fish Sauce Story
During the baseball offseason, there isn’t much on TV besides talk shows. So I watch them. Like the stay-at-home-dad that I am. These shows often have celebrity chefs and I sometimes take notes. This simple fish sauce recipe stood out among the rest.
Giving credit to celebrity chef (and super milf babe) Giada DeLaurentiis for this fish sauce recipe. She’s got the right idea: Easy and quick. But, why didn’t she use those principals with her name? I’d say she should just drop the last name completely.
I first tried this fish sauce with Dover Sole. It nicely complemented baked white fish.
Tartar Gave Fish Sauces a Bad Name
Tartar sauce reminds me of chunky sour crap we got in elementary school. Something just acidic enough to kill any germs in the school lunch fish sticks.
This fish sauce could help the franchise make a comeback. It’s really easy to make, quick and healthy. Greek yogurt, lemon juice, chives, stevia. Done. What’s your white fish served with?
Simple greek yogurt and lemon sauce for fish. Delicious.
- greek yogurt - 4 T
- chives - 6 or 8 chopped
- stevia - one packet (to taste)

- Mix all ingredients in bowl and serve with white fish such as Dover Sole
