If it hasn’t been clear, I try to add value to these emails above
and beyond what’s posted publicly on the site. One way is to share
highlights from the mail bag. I have three good ones for you, one
of which is TMI (but likely very relevant and valuable to some).
Q: We had a Lenny day yesterday…check out the photo of the Quinoa
Casserole. We also had the “Apple Pie Smoothie” for lunch. Great
stuff! Where can I find out how long everything takes, though?
Every things seems so easy, but some takes a bit of time.
LG: You mean a noyoke day? Most of the recipes should say how
long they take for prep and cook. But, things should be better
organized so food is categorized (and searchable) by
level-of-effort. So, going forward, I’m going to start using these
30 minutes or less
90 minutes of fun
If you have a better idea of how to categorize (limit is four
categories), tell me. Please.
Q: Eating your Chicken Tenders for dinner that Wifey made. Good
sh*t man! Different from any other chicken tenders I have had.
Puts a new spin on something old. My 4 year old liked it a lot,
too. You now need to come up with an Uncle Leo dipping sauce or
LG: Why isn’t Wifey getting the emails?
Q: Hi! Great site. I’ve made the Banana Oatmeal Smoothie 2 days
in a row. Phil loves it too. Apparently oatmeal helps with milk
production (breastfeeding the little guy still). I drank this
smoothie Friday night and saw a definite increase in milk that
night! May be TMI, but I thought you would want to know! I plan
on having this smoothie regularly to keep my milk supply up! Any
other recipes with oatmeal, send them my way! Nice work!
LG: Four years ago when I was dreaming about how I’d escape my
corporate job, I never imagined getting an email like this.
Definitely TMI. But, definitely what I signed myself up for. And,
probably the most valuable tip I have ever received. Can’t wait
’til the next time I see Phil.
