Wondering how much we actually use our Vitamix, this month a Vitamix Pro 750 with 32 ounce container and 20 oz Personal Cup Adapter (pictured above)? Us, too!
Here’s April’s Vitamix Usage Report from the headquarters of Life is NOYOKE (this month: our apartment in rainy and gray Chicago!).
But first, let’s assess our Vitamix usage at a high level.
April 2017 Recap
Well, we’re still pretty bad at recording our usage. But, spoiler alert: Next month we’re unveiling our revolutionary method for tracking our usage.
(Okay, it’s a small white board hung inside a cabinet. But you know what? It’s helped immensely. I don’t think we missed a single run!)
Anyway, we’re on the green juice train. We make a batch every morning.
Related: Here’s a just-published YouTube vid demonstrating how to make green juice (perfectly and delicious every single time).
Short and sweet, as of April 2017, we:
- Are both 32 years old now. (April bdays!)
- Are missing Hawaii, but not really. Mostly just struggling to get warm again.
- Are so glad it’s baseball season again. We love going to games and having them on in the background while we work.
Thanks for reading!
P.S. Are you enjoying these usage reports? Let us know. Thanks. 🙂
P.P.S. We are enjoying the ongoing creativity (and veganizing all the things) with this machine. Please let us know if there’s something you’d like to see us make.
Vitamix Usage
All of the following were made in our Vitamix, a Pro 750 with 32 ounce container and 20 oz Personal Cup Adapter (as pictured above).
Note 1: Obviously, our lifestyle is extremely conducive to heavy use. Work from home, make a living as Vitamix affiliates. But full transparency is the goal here. What do we actually do with our Vitamix?
Note 2: I realize some of these items have an ordered list that begins with “1” but stops there. No “2” or “3” or so on. Well, until I figure out a better way to deliver this information, we’re just going to have to live with ordered lists that end at 1. And yes, I tried unordered list format (bullet points), but that makes it more difficult to tally everything up and a single bullet point is almost just as bad a single item in an ordered list. Okay, moving on.
Summary: 34 Runs
(Note: Next month, we’ll begin our new recording system. So this is the last month with some Vitamix usage omissions.)
Vitamix runs: 17
Total Vitamix runs (including self-cleaning): 34

April Learnings
Looking at pictures of warm, lovely weather is a great cure for cold, dreary weather.
Soups, too.
Because rain is inevitable. Might as well embrace it. 🙂

That concludes our Vitamix usage report for April 2017. Hopefully you’re inspired to try some of the things we made.
We loved making them and hopefully you will, too.
