Here’s May’s Vitamix Usage Report from the headquarters of Life is NOYOKE (this month: our apartment in sunny, beautiful Chicago!).
But first, let’s assess our Vitamix usage at a high level.
May 2017 Recap
Aright, now we’re getting good at recording our Vitamix usage. All it took was a little white board inside one of our cabinets.
We are confident there are zero omissions. Plus, it feels like we’re getting more use out of our Vitamix. (I know, I didn’t think that was possible either.)
We spent some time in Minnesota. While there, we filmed a fun video at my childhood home: My Morning Blend (featuring my mom).
We also published a video about how to break an addiction to carbs. It’s mostly a conversational video between you and Shalva. But there are some good Vitamix usage recommendations, too.

Note 1: Obviously, our lifestyle is extremely conducive to heavy use. Work from home, make a living as virtual Vitamix reps. But full transparency is the goal here. What do we actually do with our Vitamix?
Note 2: I realize some of these items have an ordered list that begins with “1” but stops there. No “2” or “3” or so on. Well, until I figure out a better way to deliver this information, we’re just going to have to live with ordered lists that end at 1. And yes, I tried unordered list format (bullet points), but that makes it more difficult to tally everything up and a single bullet point is almost just as bad a single item in an ordered list. Okay, moving on.

The new stuff we made in our Vitamix was fabulous.
But you know what contributed most to maximizing our Vitamix usage?
The things we made on auto pilot.
But it’s all about getting into a routine.
And using that as a decision-free meal planning.
By creating habits that require zero thought.
- Queso (after grocery shopping).
- Green juice (in the mornings).
- Protein shakes (after workouts or before starting a long road trip).
It’s these few things that help maximize our usage. And, of course, maximize our lifestyle.
