Here’s our September Vitamix Usage Report from the headquarters of Life is NOYOKE (Minneapolis!).
But first, let’s assess our Vitamix usage at a high level.
September 2017 Recap
We were quite active this month.
- Twins games
- Lake walks
- Toddler visits
- MN State Fair
- Chicago, Veganmania
- New Twin Cities restaurants (J. Selby’s)
So there was less blending than the prior month. But you gotta get out while you can, right?
Here’s a quick vid we published of us taking in the awesome autumn colors. (This vid was actually published in October, but is welcomed considering the snow out our window right now!)
Looking back, we did publish several videos. Wow, so many.
Here’s Shalva explaining where to get a Vitamix:
Here’s me answering the question, “Didn’t you used to love eggs?”
This one about how you can get enough protein from just plants.
And this seems like forever ago, a day in our (former) Chicago life.
Shalva talks through the Ascent’s 48 oz containers.
And finally, Shalva shows you how to get your Ascent to detect your 8 oz container (with ease).
Phew. Lots of videos.
Anyway, we hope you enjoy looking through the things we made this month. If you make something, be sure to tag #lifeisnoyoke.
Remember: Your creations do not need to look perfect. We love cheering you on no matter what!
Obviously, our lifestyle is extremely conducive to heavy use. Work from home, make a living as virtual Vitamix reps. But full transparency is the goal here. What do we actually do with our Vitamix?
Summary: 56 Runs

Our Vitamix usage was down.
But it was mostly because we were so active.
It’s great to try new restaurants when new to a city. And if you’re anything like us, it makes you appreciate the quality of the food you make at home.
Just remember: some of the best memories are made outside the house. Even if it’s not where the best food always is. 🙂
That concludes our Vitamix usage report for September 2017. Hopefully you’re inspired to try some of the things we made.
We loved making them and hopefully you will, too.
Thanks for reading,
Lenny and Shalva
