Vitamix is discontinuing the Pro 750 in Brushed Stainless True Metal Finish. This is according to Vitamix Headquarters and is happening at the end of August 2019.
From our noise comparisons, this was one of the top-three least noisy Vitamix models you can buy. The true metal finishes generally help hush noise output.
Fortunately, you can still get one of the quietest Classic Vitamix models with a dial and switches. They’re keeping the Copper Metal Pro 750 in production.
(Of note, the 780, also a Classic, is all-touchscreen and was also one of the least loud.)
Introducing Pearl Gray for the Pro 750
The Pearl Gray finish is scheduled to be available on August 1st, 2019. It’s a plastic shell and looks pretty similar to the original brushed stainless non-metal, non-heritage finish.
We’re hoping to get our hands on one of these Pearl Gray Pro 750’s soon. And of course, we’ll show you how it looks with an upload to our YouTube channel.
We’ll also compare noise output, which we suspect will be similar to the other mid-range noisy-ness of the non-budget models.

Why are they discontinuing the Brushed Stainless Metal Pro 750’s?
It’s hard to say. People who were planning to get this model should have enough time. And people who didn’t know it existed before won’t know any better. And if they want the metal finish, they can get Copper or one of the three metal finishes on A3500.
How much noisier is the Pearl Gray than the Brushed Stainless Metal?
There’s probably a few decibel difference in noise output. Noticeable if side-by-side? Maybe. But the noise shouldn’t be alarming on its own.
