Without getting too technical, antioxidants are working against the bad things in our body. The only way to get them is through fruits and vegetables (or supplements, although the industry is highly questionable). And we always prefer to get our nutrients through whole foods.
Yes, fruit has sugar in it, but don’t let that scare you. Fruit has a few of the things that a healthy diet require; vitamins and antioxidants.
This smoothie comes out a beautiful purple color, which is important if you’re feeding it to a picky eater. Why?
Stubborn eaters eat with their eyes first. And if it looks gross, good luck getting them to take that first sip.
We made sure the Power of Purple had a mild enough flavor that even your kids will crave one.
So go throw some purple stuff in your blender. You’ll have a really happy family in no time at all 🙂
