If I win this Vitamix Giveaway, I will give the prize away to my father in law, Jonathan. They would be the perfect recipient because he has type 2 diabetes, he has been trying to make smoothies and eat healthier but the smoothies he makes always end up chunky and then he doesnt finish them. He almost went into a diabetic coma once this year and I dont want it to happen again. My husband loves his dad very much, I dont want to see him pass before he can see his future grandbabies. I am a Raw Vegan so I know that this blender will help him.

My dad has already passed, otherwise I would give it to both him and my mom to share – at one point he had high cholesterol, and I remember “catching him in the act” sneaking on his diet when I found KFC wrappers in the trash. As an engineer, he would’ve loved and respected Vitamix’s quality.

He often takes his shakes on the train, so the to-go container would be awesome for him too. Only Vitamix can prevent my bestie from cutting his mouth on blender blades. I would love this blender for my mother. She was mother/ father all her life and has diabetes and just went trough gastric bypass surgery. She has trouble eating most solid foods so this would be perfect
