During COVID, Vitamix extended the free returns window from 30 days to 60. Presumably, it had a positive impact on sales and overall customer experience, so they made it a permanent change.

Can you return a used Vitamix?
Yes, you can return a used Vitamix. The 60-day return policy is so you can try the Vitamix at home risk-free. If you change your mind, just call Vitamix Customer Service at 1-800-848-2649 and they’ll help you return or exchange it. Again, free shipping is included with all returns.
Can I return something purchased from another retailer or website?
No. The 60-day Vitamix return policy only applies to purchases made from the company itself. For example, if you purchased a Vitamix from another retailer or website, you cannot return it to Vitamix; you’ll need to work with the store you got it from.
What happens if it’s beyond 60 days?
Vitamix Customer Service is flexible and aims to please. So you should be given a break if you’re a day or two outside 60 days. But beyond that, there’s a restocking fee.
