Beyond Burgers, Olive Tapenade, Cashew Milk, and More!
Hi! Here’s what’s new, exciting, and thought provoking from our Life is NOYOKE world.
(This is the online version of our weekly email newsletter, 5 Good Things. To get it delivered to your inbox on Saturdays, you can subscribe right here.)
1. New blog posts, site updates, and other things we’re proud to be sharing
Good morning from Minneapolis!
Quick story from earlier this week:
I was getting my computer looked at, and the Genius helping me told me she had a Vitamix but never used it. She asked, “If you had to recommend just two things for me to make, what would they be?”
Such a good question.
My answer: Get the hang of blended green juice. And make yourself some queso.
So there it is. Probably should be the basis for an update to our welcome email for new Vitamix owners. (Or the idea behind a 14-day challenge?)
But it’s that simple. Green juice and queso.
Okay, let’s get to the links.

2. New recipes we’re enjoying
We made cashew milk for the first time and it’s really tasty. No filtration bag necessary. Great as-is, in coffee, or with cereal.
+ We made olive tapenade. An easy, recipe-hardly-even-required recipe. Great if you need an easy appetizer.
3. Classic recipes we’re re-showcasing
The other night, we made a giant batch of this simple protein shake (with a side of popcorn) for a too-tired-to-do-anything-but-need-nourishing-and-delicious-but-not-pasta dinner: A simple protein shake with Vega
4. Vitamix news and updates we’re enjoying
We did a Facebook Live talking through the exclusive Pro 750 deal. You can watch the replay here.
If you’d rather read, here’s the scoop: You can get one of these for $399.95 (black or red; +$30 for Brushed Stainless). They’re branded as Certified Reconditioned, but we’re 99% sure they’re brand new, untouched, mint machines. My guess is that the only reason they are not priced at $599.95 is because they sat in a William & Sonoma warehouse and were returned to Vitamix HQ to make room for Ascent. Get one while you can.
