Lenny and Shalva
2. New recipe posts we’re drooling over
Don’t toss the guts of your fruit! Blend up a juice (like this) instead! Guts Juice (made with cantaloupe innards!).
+ A bold and unique nut butter recipe. Panang peanut butter. Highly recommended.
3. Classic recipe we’re re-showcasing
The condiment that deserves a place on every sandwich. Creamy coleslaw! (Yes, that’s a veggie dog.)
4. Vitamix news and updates we’re enjoying
The Ascent’s 8-ounce containers were so popular they sold out. We’ll let you know as soon as they’re back.
+ Notes you send us are always kept confidential. But when they’re good enough to share, we ask permission. Here’s a fun one we got recently from our old friend Bretto who, after asking if I knew of any good Vitamix deals going on right now, bought the Certified Reconditioned Standard Programs (aka recon Pro 500) for $279.95 before I could even ask what he wanted to make. Below the picture of his new machine, he wrote, “Dude, I’m super overwhelmed right now. I just gave birth to my new son. I want to introduce you to Vitale. He weighs in at about 7lbs 2oz. I can’t tell exactly who he looks like, but he looks super healthy and I couldn’t be happier. What a feeling.”
+ The all-touchscreen 780 (details plus several video demonstrations), is $120 off while supplies last. (Canada shoppers get C$130 off the same model!)
+Exclusive to us, the 780 is also available in Certified Reconditioned for US shoppers at $399. A really great deal, especially when paired with easy payment plans). Related: On Tuesday, we’re going a Facebook Live to show you the 780 and answer any questions you have.
+ Planning to buy through us? Please use our → link to vitamix.com before you checkout and look for (06-NOYOKE) near the promotion code box to ensure we get credit. Thanks!
+ Two pictures for fun.
This pic of me kissing a green juice was pretty popular on our Instagram.
And below is Shalva sipping Guts Juice! from our A3500. (Related note: Every time I type Guts Juice!, I feel the need to add an exclamation point.)
SUPPORT = 💚
Life is NOYOKE takes us hundreds of hours every month to create and maintain.

5. Articles, posts, and products from around the web we’re thinking about
A movie now on Netflix: What the Health. A lot to take in. But worth your 90 minutes. (Sister Alana watched it with brother-in-law Harry and have since made several of our recipes.)
+ If you read all the articles about food safety, you’ll end up left only able to eat rice and water. Plus, they’re annoying. So we typically only share encouraging articles that provide some social proof that the lifestyle we preach (whole food and plant-based) is catching on and impacting people in a positive way. But this article about food safety caught my eye and is worthy of your consideration: From The NYTimes, About the chemicals in your Mac & Cheese.
Okay, all for now.
Thanks and good things,
Shalva and Lenny
P.S. The pic below is from the the lake a couple weeks ago. It was our turn to make dinner for the crew (which included two wonderful (albeit still toddlers) toddlers. Never had going to the grocery store together been so wonderful.
