Maple pecan nut butter. Really, you should. Great with jelly on english muffin. Or with apples. Make it!

+ Triple Ginger Chocolate Cookies. Three of my favorite things. Ginger, chocolate, and cookies. (As I type, I’m about to eat the last cookie in the batch we made. Wait, omg, Nephew Norman is calling on FaceTime. Wait, that’s not Normie. It’s Cookie Monster!)

Okay, now here’s those cookies. (He really did call as I was typing this and eating the last cookie.)

We’re fortunate to be childhood friends with one of the stage managers at Broadway’s Hamilton. In 2015, she invited us to see the show (with original cast) on its last night off-Broadway. And last night we got to see it again. Needless to say, this is what I am (we are) thinking about. No, not notions of “writing day and night like you’re running out of time” or “not throwing away my shot.” Those words were the first to really shake me. This time around, as we’re 36 weeks pregnant, expecting our first, I’m thinking of Dear Theodosia.
