In the past, I’ve taken dozens of sexy photos of new products. (My 780 reviewĀ comes to mind).

A bit of history
Perfect Company sells scale and app combos for several kitchen tasks. At the time of publishing, they also have a Perfect Bake and a Perfect Drink.
They’re a new-ish company without, alas, much information about itself on its website.
But like Vitamix, they’re good at what they do.
So Vitamix partnered with themĀ to create the Perfect Blend. It’s a branded scale and app package that’s custom-made for Vitamix owners.
What you get
The Vitamix Perfect Blend comes as a nice package:
- Smart scale.
- Tablet stand.
- Access to the Vitamix recipe app.
The last one is probably the most valuable part of the package. All recipes from the Vitamix recipe library have been tested and configured for use with the Perfect Blend Smart Scale and App.
This is a database of more than 500 recipes with more added quarterly. You get lifetime access.
Translation: you get all of the Vitamix recipe books (past and future) in a digital, no-measure, interactive format. Pretty cool.

Love the concept but would like more information about the “bells and whistles” ex changing the time to oz etc. Also how do you charge the scale. I have plugged it in and the bars continue to move downward. I am afraid that it will not charge. I use the batteries and have replaced them a few times yet the bars continue to move downward.
Would appreciate a bit of advice.

Hey Lenny, I live in Canada and I would like the Perfect Blend Scale but on Amazon.ca it’s over 200 dollars CAD. Do you know if Vitamix ships to Canada at a cheaper price?
Thank you for taking the time to review this product. I love my Vitamix, but have read mixed reviews. Does this also work with other vessels such as bowls, cutting boards, shakers etc? Can you make cocktails and bake with this like the Kitchen Pro? Can you track calories on all foods or just smoothies? Thank you in advance!

Hi thanks for reviewing this product. I JUST bought one of these “vitamix” scales yesterday. My vitamix is out for repair and I’m anxiously waiting for it to return! What drew me to this product is how you can click serve and pour the amount you want and have it calculated precisely for the amount your consuming. I like you am an avid Fitbit user as well. I am trying to figure out how and through what apps to link up all my data. I do have iPhone/iPad so have ihealth from apple. You mentioned syncing the smoothie you drank with I health, how do you do this? I would love to see a video how to on this. There is not yet enough tutorials on this. Thanks!

Hi Lenny. Your wishlist is spot on. 1. Integration with Fitbit – we are working on this. 2. Adding custom ingredients – ingredient editor (where you can add a new ingredient and the related nutrition info) is now available in the latest release of the Perfect Blend App (version 6.2.1 for iOS and 6.2.0 for Android). 3. Browse recipes from other Perfect Blend users – While we do not offer a full list of browsable user recipes, we do have a sharing feature. Someone can share a recipe they’ve used, edited, or created via Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest. Users with Perfect Blend can touch that link on their device, which will then install the recipe to their app.

To clarify on #3, I understand the sharing capabilities are there to an extent. In a Perfect world, though, I’d like to be able to search Perfect Blend users by username, click add their custom recipes, have those recipes show up in my world. For example, if Shalva and I add recipes from our site, our people who buy the Perfect Blend would appreciate the ability to “add us” and have the Life is NOYOKE recipes (all of them) at their fingertips. This, I believe, is the ultimate long-term value of this product.
Canada shopper? Unfortunately, Vitamix only offers the Perfect Blend on Vitamix.com, and has no plans to offer it on Vitamix.ca for Canadian shoppers.
