Day 3: 30 days of the S30 — A different type of blender, a different type of giveaway
Let’s call it, “The give-away a Vitamix giveaway”
This Vitamix giveaway is different from any I’ve ever done.
Why?
The winner of the giveaway MUST give the prize away.
That’s right. If you win this giveaway, you gotta give the Vitamix to:
- A friend.
- A family member.
- An acquaintance who deserves a break.
Any of those are great recipients.
But the best one?
A father!
After all, the winner will be picked just before Father’s Day.
I’m really excited about this. Isn’t it obvious? 🙂
This is the essence of the Life is NOYOKE philosophy: Helping others help themselves.
The grand prize is brand new Vitamix S30. It retails at $409.
(Click here to see more posts in my “30 days of the S30” series.)
What’s the catch? Nothing. Just show some love to Life is NOYOKE. And, of course, tell us who you’d give the prize to if you won!
Use the Rafflecoptor form below to enter. Enter daily for the best odds. Giveaway ends June 14th, 2014 at 11:59pm CST — just before Father’s Day!
I LOVE the format of this Vitamix giveaway
I’m so excited about this give-away giveaway.
But you might not be. And that’s okay.
So, here are seven reasons why you should NOT enter:
- You don’t know someone who needs this more than you.
- Everyone you know (but you) already has a Vitamix.
- You’d take the gift back after giving it.
- You won’t be thrilled to make someone’s day, month, year.
- You designed or developed this blog.
- You won’t be absolutely ecstatic when you win.
- You’ll become a stranger if you don’t win.

If I win this Vitamix Giveaway, I will give the prize away to my brother and his soon to be wife as a wedding gift. They would be the perfect recipient because my brother uses the Vitamix at my parents a lot and would love to have one for his own home.
My parents are planning on giving my brother and his fiancé their Vitamix since my brother is the main one who uses it(my mom likes her Bullet),so I may have to find a different ricipient for for it if I win. Don’t worry I won’t keep it for myself,I already have a Vitamix 5200:)!
If I win this Vitamix Giveaway, I will give the prize away to my Mom__. They would be the perfect recipient because…this would help her health. She has kidney issues and this would be a great tool for her in the kitchen.
If I win this, I’d give it to my brother and sister-in-law. They’ve recently started to eat healthier and I think they would love using this!
If I win this Vitamix Giveaway, I will give the prize away to my daughter. They would be the perfect recipient because she is getting interested in learning about cooking. She’s 7 years old.

A family blender. Like it. Good luck.
Am I the only selfish one here!? lol I would take the blender for myself!
OOH! I missed the part about giving it away! This is such a good idea for a giveaway.. perfect for fathers day. I would give this my my grandfather… He needs a powerful blender for his food!
Haha! You’re the only one who didn’t read the post but read the other comments. 🙂
If I win this Vitamix Giveaway, I will give the prize away to myself! They would be the perfect recipient because I love blenders and it is time for a more powerful one instead of the cheap one I have now
If I win this Vitamix Giveaway, I will give the prize away to my daughter. She would be the perfect recipient because… she has celiac disease and needs to eat fresh, whole foods as much as possible.
Celiac disease is very common these days. How old is your daughter? Seems like it’s a malady of a younger generation.
If I win this Vitamix Giveaway, I will give the prize away to my father. They would be the perfect recipient because he works super hard in the kitchen, cooking and cleaning up, and deserves a special gift for all he does!
Sounds like he’d be thrilled. What do you think he’d make in it? Does he use a blender today?
If I win this Vitamix Giveaway, I will give the prize away to my husband and new baby. They would be the perfect recipient because my husband is a new dad (baby due in early Sept) and he could use the vitamix to make smoothies/milkshakes, meals etc to stay strong while we adjust to the baby and sleep schedule! Also, he loves breakfast and there are so many good breakfast recipes for him to make! One of his favorite drinks is a smoothie with oats, frozen bananas, cocoa powder, and almond milk, but our blender is so weak he can hardly make it!
And of course, baby can benefit (once old enough 😉 ) from homemade baby foods made in the Vitamix– start healthy eating earlyl!
Love it, Theresa.
And his favorite drink is exactly like the one I make all the time.

A common theme — getting kids to eat healthier. What have you guys tried thus far in that department?
If I win this Vitamix Giveaway, I will give the prize away to my best friend. She would be the perfect recipient because she has been through a lot of abuse and is very broken. This gift will help her on the path of becaming healthier and it will remind her that she is loved!
Oy. Pulling for you and her, Monica. 🙂
If I win this Vitamix Giveaway, I will give the prize away to my sister. They would be the perfect recipient because it would be a great way to thank her for sending me the most kickass care packages while I’ve been forward deployed (15+ months of 20 months so far away from homeport) with the Navy even while she’s been studying for the bar exam (which she just passed!).
I like that — repaying prior gifts.
Thank you for serving, Kris.
How did I do with explaining bag-packing strategy?

If I win this Vitamix Giveaway, I will give the prize away to my mother. They would be the perfect recipient because as she ages she’s finding that her health is deteriorating so this would make it easier to get more nutrients in using the smoothies and soup recipes. She’s wanted one for several years but they’re just so expensive. I would love to fulfill her wish, a belated mother’s day gift!
Good daughter, Jennifer. 🙂
If I win this Vitamix Giveaway, I will give the prize away to my mom. She would be the perfect recipient because she’s worked really hard at getting healthy and would love this machine! I love my 5200!
I like it. Already a Vitamix in the family. Let’s keep the tradition going!
If I win this Vitamix Giveaway, I will give the prize away to my best friend. he would be the perfect recipient because the only way he eats fruit is if it’s all mushed up and drinkable. The Vitamix would enable him (with my encouragement) to mush up a lot more variety in drinkable form!
How does he mush it up now? 🙂
I wasn’t sure how to “reply” to your question… so I’m replying to my comment.
He uses the blender part of a Cuisinart Duet Blender / Food processor.
The base gets very hot when processing; so it’s probably on its last leg.
It’s a pretty weak blender: often won’t even puree a frozen banana in a smoothie, and it’s very weak on ice. Our little stick blender does better with ice than the Cuisinart. It is handy to have one base with two different parts for different kinds of processing. But in the end, the food processor part is pretty small so if you’re grating something you have to keep taking it apart and emptying it and putting it back together to grate more. A better bet would be a good blender like this Vitamix (or pretty much any Vitamix) and a decent sized food processor…
If I win this Vitamix Giveaway, I will give the prize away to my friend Brianne. She would be the perfect recipient because she is a food blogger who keeps running through inferior blenders. I keep telling her to get a Vitamix, but the size of the large pitcher puts her off a bit.
