We have an exciting new thing for you!
And it’s exactly as it sounds: The Dusty Blender Challenge
We want you to get out your blender and use it once-a-day for a week.
The why
Knowing how to really use your blender is a total game changer.
In our house, we make smoothies almost every day. They’re great as:
- Meal replacements.
- Post-workout protein and nutrient infusions.
- Easily trackable, portion-controlled fuel for our busy bodies.
But more than smoothies and shakes, we use our blender to eat clean.
Our snacks, our desserts, our soups are so much better tasting and better for us.
Bottom line: Our blender makes our lives healthier and easier. As such, we use ours every day.
The problem: You should, but you don’t
You have a blender but you’re not using it enough. And there a million excuses:
- I don’t know where to start.
- I don’t have time.
- It’s too expensive.
- My blender is (fill in the blank).
But deep down, you know those are just excuses. They’re holding you back and you deserve better.
New or old, basic or best, you wish you used your blender more.
For you, for your family, for heaven’s sake!
So let’s jumpstart your blending habit. Dust off your blender and let’s use it daily for a week.

Hi Linda,
You can take the lid plug out of all Vitamix models while bending. So the ability to add oil to salad dressings during the blend.
Here’s a video showing this with a 5200 and a Next Gen just like the Pro 300: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Kp__4n3pJ4

Hi Lenny! Thanks for the great service you provide for people like me! I’m a total novice my friend has the 5200 and I love it but want to buy the pro 300.I have a question regarding a functionality to do with the lids of the 5200 and the pro 300. if you have to keep the lid on the pro 300 all the time while its working…podsibly due to the shorter wider container (?) and it throws the mix upwards.(?) How can you add oil to a dressing by drizzling it through the hole in the lid??? Can you still fo the drizzle…is there a work around? Thanks!
