Here's a Soyaki Sauce to make in your Vitamix
Sometimes you want soy sauce. Sometimes you want teriyaki. Sometimes you throw them together and call it Soyaki Sauce.
There are a lot of teriyaki and soy sauce blends out there. They’re all delicious.
But here’s the problem: They’re all full of sugar and ingredients we can’t pronounce.
And if the sugar and added preservatives in store-bought Soyaki aren’t enough for you to consider making your own, we should talk a moment about freshness.
This soyaki sauce: A great example of fresh ingredients bringing out fantastic flavor
Apple juice tastes different than a bite of an apple. Coffee from freshly ground beans tastes different than a K-cup brew.
This is freshness, people.
And this soyaki is a great excuse to use the fresh cilantro from your herb garden. Mixed with fresh ginger, this sauce is a big step up from a bottle of store-bought.
It’s worth noting, too, that the ratio of easiness to taste is off the charts. So easy, so tasty.
We threw the ingredients into our 8-oz container. (If you’re using a 32 or 48 oz, double the recipe.)
And, done. Ready to sautee!
Go make a batch today!

Useful tips for Soyaki Sauce
After the initial blend the consistency is best. If you save some in the fridge, simply shake it before use.
The only draw back, as with all soy-sauce-based sauces, is its sodium level. So use the lite sodium soy sauce and enjoy in moderation.
Try adding some pineapple chunks instead of dates. It would make the sauce completely off the charts.
This Soyaki Sauce is great in any stir fry. It’s also great for sauteing peppers and other vegetables (like broccoli).
And if you want to be a hero, make more than one sauce! This Soyaki would pair nicely with our Thai Peanut Sauce, which is also great!
Okay, here’s the recipe.
Go make it! Your friends and family will love you for it.

How does this recipe yield 3 cups when there is only 1/4 cup of soy sauce and 3 tablespoons of red wine vinegar?
Thanks.
