This blueberry smoothie is so basic, you gotta love it
You know that person who’s impressively unimpressive? They’re just so basic?
That’s this smoothie.
Just a few ingredients. Not original at all.
But you cannot deny it. There’s nothing wrong with it.
It’s actually quite good.
Well, that’s this blueberry smoothie.
It’s kind of a basic B.
So here’s what we’re calling The Basic B Blueberry Smoothie.
Four years in the making
In April of 2012, I “created” this smoothie. It was one of the first Vitamix recipes I made.
It probably took me two or three tries to get the recipe perfect.
Back then, it was a NOYOKE Shake.
But, I didn’t publish it. The post was saved as draft.
And the original picture looked like this.
Makeshift white background, wacky white balance, schlocky food photo decoration. Crazy, right?
Fun to look back, eh?
So while we update our smoothie recipes to make them vegan, here’s the latest revival.
We made it last night and it was flawless. So, so good.
Go make one today.
