Creamy, rich and vegan hollandaise sauce made in a Vitamix
Hollandaise sauce is a staple for the brunching crowd.
It’s the star of the show on eggs benedict or any breakfast dish featuring salmon.
And it’s just as good simply drizzled on fresh steamed vegetables.
Too bad it’s terrible for you (and FAR from dairy-free)!
The classic hollaindaise recipe gets its creamy texture from butter and egg yolks. In this one, we’ll use an avocado to mirror that richness while still keeping it vegan.
This recipe is incredibly easy, no prep necessary and just 5 minutes from start to finish. Adapted from this one on the Vitamix website, it’s definitely a Vitamix recipe, although you can probably get by without one.
Here’s a quick little video of me trying this hollandaise over asparagus (:06)
