Try this fruit smoothie made with fresh peaches
You’ll find peaches on nearly every smoothie menu. And there’s a reason.
They are:
- Juicy
- Sweet
- Mild
- Nutritious
We created a really simple recipe using ingredients you likely already have in your pantry.
So grab some peaches on your next Farmer’s Market trip (or make a trip to the freezer aisle) and make yourself a Peach Pie Smoothie! 🙂
This peachy smoothie is easy as pie!
I love pie.
And this week it seems like it’s on the top of my mind.
Why? Because we’re headed to the Minnesota State Fair (my personal favorite annual event)! All of the best pies are on display and although you can’t taste them, you can imagine.
Now I know it’s not cool to eat a slice of pie every day (but if I could, I would). So I started to create smoothies that have a similar profile. Like the Blubarb Smoothie which tastes like a blue ribbon piece of blueberry/rhubarb pie. Or the Pumpkin Smoothie which tastes like Thanksgiving dessert in a glass.
So when I saw that peaches were in season, my first thought was pie! Fine… a smoothie, but pie flavored!
We used the basic template for sweet fruit smoothies and we’ve got a total winner. Perhaps it could even win a prize someday at the State Fair 🙂
Here’s a pic from the original post in 2012 pre-veganizing our lives. This was one of the first smoothies Lenny ever created 🙂

Useful tips for Peach Pie Smoothie
If peaches are not in season, use frozen. Replace the fresh peaches in the recipe with 2 cups (500 g) of frozen peaches and reduce the ice to just a half cup (108 g).
Garnish with a slice of fresh peach and cinnamon if you’re feeling fancy.
