Hi! Here’s what’s new, exciting, and thought provoking from our Life is NOYOKE world.
This is the online version of our weekly email newsletter, 5 Good Things. To get it delivered to your inbox on Saturdays, you can subscribe right here.
1. New blog posts, site updates, and other things we’re proud to be sharing
Few notes about the ebook we just published.
i) You should read it.
People are loving it. Here are three readers’ feedback.
Great book! Great food! Great vitality!
“I love the clear, simple, no-nonsense way this book is written. It gets right to the obstacles to and opportunities for eating a delicious, healthy diet that provides energy for active living. Also, I love the way it starts with easy basics and progresses to a complete diet for healthy life.”
“Gets point across well – a good read if you’re curious how vitamix can improve the way you live. Recommended.”
Informational quick read!
This book really motivated me to head downstairs to my Vitamix. I struggle with getting motivated to use my Vitamix to all it’s potential. I use it frequently for the handful of LifeIsNoyoke recipes I’ve mastered, but needed this read to decide to kick it up a notch.
ii) You can read a pdf version for free.
Click here to “get access”. It should say you’re already subscribed. Check the box that says “ebook” and click Update Preferences. You’ll get the welcome email new subscribers get which includes a link to download the pdf. (Use this link if you are not yet a subscriber.)
iii) You can read a Kindle version for $2.99.
Click here to buy the Kindle version. If you prefer the “real deal” (read on any device, table of contents, adjustable font size for aging-eyes) experience, this is for you. Overall, it’s a much better experience. Plus, when you finish, you can help us by leaving us an honest review on Amazon.
2. New recipe posts we’re drooling over
Energy bites and protein balls are all the rage right now. If you type either of those terms into Pinterest you’ll come back with thousands of posts. Since our home office is currently in Honolulu, we decided to make our version tropical. Pineapple, coconut, and macadamia. Sounds pretty Hawaiian, eh? Introducing Hula Bites. They’re delightful.
+ A public service announcement about chickpea water. Don’t throw it out. Instead, use it to make yourself some of this delicious, easy, vegan french toast.
3. Classic recipe we’re re-showcasing
Look who got a new photo shoot and post refresh? Our legendary Cashew Queso. Go read about how this cheese dip was a pivotal moment in my (and Life is NOYOKE’s) life. Or, just make yourself some!
4. Vitamix news and updates we’re enjoying
Do you remember the moment when you first got your Vitamix? We want to hear your story. Leave a comment below.
Or, are you still waiting to “take the plunge?” We just updated our Vitamix Buyer’s guide. Take a look!
+ Here’s a pretty picture just because. (A3500 with a Honolulu hill in the background.)

5. Articles, posts, and products from around the web we’re thinking about
Do you guys know Blending with Henry? He’s a YouTube legend and food friend of ours. Watch him!
The staggering list of food product brands that could potentially all be under one giant, historic, unprecedented food conglomerate. #great All the brands that would feature in the largest food conglomerate merger in history
+ Longevity advice from CNN. #duh Eat more fruit and veg for a longer life, researchers say.
Okay, all for now.
Thanks and good things,
