  1. Add the walnuts and chopped dried apples into your Vitamix container.
  2. Drizzle 1 Tbsp of sunflower oil on top of ingredients.
  3. Ramp from variable speed 1 to 10 and then turn to high.
  4. Use your tamper to push the ingredients from the corners.
  5. Add another 1 Tbsp. of oil if necessary.
  6. Stop the blend after 2-4 minutes.
  7. Add cinnamon and salt, use a spoon to stir contents.
  8. Blend on high again until consistency is smooth (1-3 minutes).

Useful tips for Apple Cinnamon Walnut Butter

This recipe requires one of the narrow-bodied containers, so a 32-oz or a 48-oz. If you’re using a low-profile 64, you’ll need to double the recipe.

Store in an airtight container for up to 2 weeks or freeze it for later.

You can use almonds instead of walnuts, but we much prefer walnuts here.

We like it a little bit salty (like salted caramel), but if you don’t, just decrease the salt to 1/4 tsp.

Get yourself some graham crackers, it’s a magical combination.

If you don’t have a Vitamix, you can use a food processor, you’ll just need up to 1/2 oil to get the smooth consistency.

I just came across this recipe. Since I just got a new A3500 with a low profile 64oz container, I’d need to double the recipe. That’s a lot of walnut butter, so do you know if this or any of the nut butters are freezable? Also I saw a comment asking if they could use the 20oz container, but saw no answer. Can you?
    This sounds so delicious.

You can freeze it, or you can put it in little jars and gift it to people! This one cannot be made in the 20oz container.

Could I use a personal cup adapter with a 20 cup for this recipe?

The walnut butter needs a tamper, so this recipe will not work in the 20oz cup. Classic peanut butter does.

We used dried banana chips, half vege oil and half sesame oil. Oh boy it was good.

Yep, my exact thoughts lol, since the blades didn’t even touch the butter.. Perhaps it would be useful to see container info on recipes? Just a thought.
