What to Expect When Ordering Directly from Vita-Mix
If you’ve ever read about Vitamix, you’ve probably considered ordering directly from their website.
And that’s great!
You probably know it’s one of the safest, most cost-effective ways to make the investment.
But here’s the problem:
Ordering directly from Vitamix can be a little daunting.
After all, it’s just you and your uncertainties about the buying process.
So let’s walk through the process of buying directly from Vitamix, step-by-step.
But first, some of my favorite quotes from people who just placed their order. 🙂

So, while there are a few steps and important decisions, it must be worth it.
Right?
And now…
How to master the Vitamix website and get the best buying experience
Keep in mind these five things when placing your order from the Vitamix website.
1. There’s a big selection
If you want to see all current Vitamix models, you’re in the right place. Any discontinued or re-branded models from resellers are neither available nor supported by Vitamix.
All models are backed by a 30-day, no-questions-asked, 100% money back guarantee (including free return shipping).
But no good deed goes unpunished.
Why?
There are SEVERAL models to choose from.
So if you are looking for some guidance on the selection, see my continuously updated article on which to buy:

2. Pick your color and warranty
There are awesome questions you get to answer during this step:
- What color what you like?
- Would you like ALL risk removed from your purchase for several years…for FREE?
Seriously, this part of the process makes me smile. Both of those things are terrific.
Color is up to you. But if you like to over think things (like me), read this:

And if you love super duper insurance, you can get an extra three years for a few extra bucks per day.

3. Promo codes
In the shopping cart, you’ll see a promotion code box. Any code you find with a google search will get you free shipping and partner (best) price.
But here’s the deal:
If you use my code, I get credit for the sale.
Up to you.
4. Sales tax
At checkout, there’s one unpleasant surprise: Sales tax.
Here’s how I see it:
The surprise is the worst part of it. Now that you can expect sales tax to be added, it shouldn’t hurt so bad. Plus, you just got $25 off with a promotion code.
5. Delivery and Timing
When you submit your order, you’ll get a receipt immediately. Plus, you get customer service contact info if you have questions. You will also get an email version of the receipt.
A few days later, you’ll get an email saying your Vitamix has shipped. You’ll get a tracking number and can follow it all the way from Cleveland.
Finally, your Vitamix shows up to your door. It will come in a simple cardboard box with the Vitamix logo on all sides. Inside the box is your prize. And it’s a work of art.

‘And if you love super duper insurance, you can get an extra three years for a few extra bucks per day.’
Just wanted to say that ‘ a few extra bucks per day ‘ ain’t cheap if you consider there are 1095 days in 3 years.
Worded like that, the extra 3 years warranty will cost you more than the initial investment, and that’s with just 1 extra dollar per day. A few extra bucks would be plain devastating investment wise.
It’s 99$ for 3 years as of right now on their website. It’s more like 10 cents/day rather than ‘a few extra bucks per day’.
Apparently my math is rusty! 🙂 Thanks for pointing this out
I left out a section on how excited people get when they order their Vitamix. I even felt it. And I do this for a living.
Know what I’m sayin’?
