Hi! Here’s what’s new, exciting, and thought provoking from our Life is NOYOKE world.
This is the online version of our weekly email newsletter, 5 Good Things. To get it delivered to your inbox on Saturdays, you can subscribe right here.
1. New recipe posts we’re drooling over
If you have acute or chronic lower back pain, you should not seek advice from me. The only certification I ever received was a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license. But here’s what’s important: I jump out of bed every morning at 5 AM eager to make things like this to help people like you. So despite not being a licensed medical professional (and therefore am only giving you ideas to discuss with your doctor), you can know that I am reasonably intelligent, hard-working, and passionate about helping people live the lifestyle they deserve. So with that, here’s this: Lower Back Pain Relief Juice (a delicious placebo)
+ Here’s a delicious alternative to plain ol’ hummus: (Bright) Beet Hummus.
+ Something to keep you warm after the (cold) news coming next week from the White House about a border wall: Mexican Hot Chocolate
2. Classic recipe we’re re-showcasing
Highlighting some of our awesome followers who are living the life and have made NOYOKE recipes this week. (Do, too, #lifeisnoyoke so we can see what you made!)
First, Baby Avi with some vegan (and therefore pareve) cornbread.
+ Nurse Lori dug up a recipe in dire need of an update, Vitamix Vodka Sauce. Thanks for putting it back on our radar.
+ The soup that people can’t get enough of: Creamy Wild Rice Soup (made by Kate)
3. New blog posts, site updates, and other things we’re proud to be sharing
We are still basking in the glory of this ebook we just published. It’s available as a beautifully formatted, read-anywhere, Kindle ebook for $2.99. Here are two reviews:
“I love the clear, simple, no-nonsense way this book is written. It gets right to the obstacles to and opportunities for eating a delicious, healthy diet that provides energy for active living.”
“Gets point across well – a good read if you’re curious how vitamix can improve the way you live. Recommended
Also, I love the way it starts with easy basics and progresses to a complete diet for healthy life.”
Email subscribers can get it in pdf form for free right here.

The other week, Jay sent a quick vid of his 2-year old son looking into the camera and narrating himself make a green smoothie. It was awesome. Since then, we have newfound motivation to create with kids in mind.
