Good morning from synagogue!

Just kidding. No mobile phones allowed in the sanctuary. (And we schedule these posts / emails earlier in the week to avoid working on Saturdays.)

We worked our tuchus’ off this week on Life is NOYOKE, but outside the kitchen. So today, we’re featuring some of our best fall recipes and a few others of ours made by friends.

2. Classic recipes we’re re-showcasing

Apple Cinnamon Walnut Butter. This one packs a punch. Rich flavor, great with coffee.

+ Coffee Ice Cream. As good as it looks. Worth the tiny bit of effort. Made it to celebrate National Coffee Day on Friday.

+ Vegan Cornbread. Make your own cornmeal with popcorn kernels and throw these babies together in a flash. Perfect side for soup season.

3. Friends sharing our best recipes (because people love us! They really love us!)

+ Susan L. made a delish-looking vegan banana bread. (Just the way we like it, too; tons of chocolate chips!)

+ Isobel from O’Connor’s kitchen (in ??!) made our Creamy Wild Rice soup look magical.

+ Cheryl embraces Fall with this S’mores shake.

+ And finally, Lily who has made many of our recipes, shows off a gorgeous detox salad.

The decision to make our kitchen vegan has always been familiar. The way some of our peers’ families did it with a kosher kitchen. This is how our house is going to be, whatever happens outside of the house will be accepted without judgement. As such, we loved this article so much.
